SKI TOUR IRAN - 6 DAY - 700€ / $750- January 2017

The tour is part fun ski tour part cultural.  We first spend time exploring Tehran and then having fun on the slopes of biggest ski resort in Iran,  Dizin ski resort. 

Dizin is the largest ski resort in western Asia located in the heart of Alborz mountain range, 75 km from Tehran. The high altitude the climate conditions offer a very long time for skiing, beginning in November and finishing in May as well as fantastic snow quality. The highest ski lift reaches 3,600 m, making it one of the highest lift-accessed ski resorts in the world. The resorts contain 23 different paths which are equipped with 4 cabin-lift, 3 chair-lifts and 8 platter-lift.This resort has many comfortable accommodation facilities such as hotels, cottages, chalets, villas, private apartments and local houses, and accommodates thousands of people every year. The facilities in the area are more than enough to present a homelike accommodation place . 

Traveling, don't have skis?  No problem, for a small fee, tour will include the skis.  If you like to rent your own, we will offer a discount and you can rent equipment such as alpine skis and snowboard, cross country skis and accessories around the resort. 

During the day, fast food in the middle of the slope and a snack bar at the top, the latter also serving breakfast. In the evening, there are 4-5 restaurants and   cafes.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival – Tehran

Arrival at Tehran airport, meet and greet by our representative. Walking tour of the city. Tehran bazaar if time allows. Overnight in Tehran, Saina Hotel 4*

Day 2: Tehran / Dizin

Golestan Palace that is both a historic site and museum consisting of 17 palaces, museums, halls and well landscaped gardens. The Jewel, archaeological or national museum of Iran that represents you many different periods of Iran's rich history.  Late afternoon drive to Dizin. Overnight at Dizin

Day 3: Dizin

A full day of skiing. Ski hire is available and the ski school can provide instruction by professional teachers. Overnight at Dizin.

Day 4: Dizin

A full day of skiing. Overnight at Dizin.

Day 5: Dizin

A full day of skiing. Overnight at Dizin.

Day 6: Dizin – Tehran

Travel back to Tehran with some scenic stops to view the superb mountain scenery offered by the towering peaks and deep valleys of the Alborz range. Free time in Tehran. Last night’s dinner at Armenian club or traditional Persian restaurant. Overnight in Tehran, Saina Hotel.

Day 7: Tehran
